Conference On University Purchasing (COUP)

The next COUP will be held at the University of St. Andrews, Scotland, on 6-8th September 2011.  It is being hosted by APUC (Advanced Procurement for Universities and Colleges), the procurement Centre of Expertise and consortium for Scotland's universities and colleges.

The annual general meeting of the AUPO ( Association of University Procurement Officers )will be held late afternoon on Tuesday 6 September.

The conference will kick off on 7 September and will include keynote speakers and seminars on topics that are current and vital to developing procurement in the higher education sector.  The programme will focus on technical procurement skills and knowledge, as well as the softer skills that are essential to the procurement role.

Running alongside the conference, on 7 and 8 September, there will be a busy supplier exhibition.  In addition, an excellent evening entertainment programme is being arranged.  The grand finale will be a gala dinner at the world-famous Old Course Hotel in St Andrews.
